ABOUT US

Our philosophy is to provide the best possible service for the least possible cost.
Each of the various editions of the World of Racing software represents a major investment for us. However, we supply them free of charge as part of the service and simply charge a subscription for the ongoing supply of data.
The cost of subscription is such that it could probably be recouped with just one informed bet!
You are not tied to a contract and we do not direct debit your bank account.

THE POWER OF COMPUTER-ANALYSED RACING FORM
Equinets World of Racing is a complete source of information fot the horse or hound racing professional. As such it contains features which are invaluable to Bloodstock Agents, Owners, Trainers, Jockeys as well as professional punters for whom it was originally developed in 1994 in response to a perceived need.

The World of Racing consists of a suite of editions covering a number of racing genres, e.g. New Zealand Gallops, Queensland Trots, etc. Each edition is a Windows computer application with a large offline database of racing form.
The application connects to our master databases of racing form via the internet to stay updated with the current and future fields and the latest results of races and trials.

Each edition is supplied with several years of form - enough to cover the entire performing history of all horses or dogs currently racing.

Where appropriate, some editions also include Standard Time Ratings for the course, Average stakes earnings for the runner, barometric data, fitness ratings and other information not found anywhere else.

Useful functions include a watchlist (black book) to alert the user when a particular runner or trainer is in a race, a brief note section, a facility to 'tag' a runner, and an alarm to alert the user when a race is about to run.

MUCH MORE THAN A MERE TIPPING SYSTEM OR SERVICE
The World of Racing is designed specifically to not be a tipping system, but rather to be an all-purpose tool and a complete source of information for the more serious 'turf investor'. It is designed to complement the users preferred style and type of betting strategy.

BETTING ON THE RACES NEED NOT BE SUCH A GAMBLE.
Whether it's the stock market or the race track, every astute investor knows that the secret to success is having ALL the information and a reliable method to analyse it.
This is exactly what the Equinet World of Racing gives you!

INSTANT PREDICTION: COLLATING ALL THE RELEVANT FACTORS AT THE CLICK OF A MOUSE!
The entire performing history of each horse in the race is scanned and complex algorithms applied to determine such things as time ratings, achievement ratings, deviations from standard times and a host of other factors. Upon completion of this, the ratings for all the horses are collated and the field sorted into order of merit putting the most likely moneymakers at the top. Each horses full form is displayed in the bottom half of the Analysis Screen (see the screenshots on the Products page). Additionally, colour coding is used extensively to draw the users attention to all important factors.

Bold claims or hyperbole? The fact that many of our subscribers have been with us for more than twenty years says it all.

The Vaguely Crimson Affair.
It was in 1999 at a winter meeting in the South Island, New Zealand. A horse called Vaguely Crimson was very highly ranked by the software, largely because exactly a year previously it had performed very well on the same track at the same distance. It was, in fact, rated as the fastest horse at the distance on the day in question.
Somebody in the office noticed that it was paying nearly eighty dollars to win. We all immediately put some each way bets on. Curious to see how far the dividend would drop, we were surprised when it actually went up substantially! By now, the race was a little over a minute from start time. We all put another bet on and once again the dividend went up!
It was seconds away from the tote closing and there was a mad scramble to put a third bet on.
The tote closed. The race started. The horse won.
The final payout was $108 for the win and $20+ for the place!
After work, we drank a toast to all the hapless punters whose knowledge of the horse was limited to its last few starts.
This happens frequently (though not usually as spectacularly).
